Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  1. Proficient in testing activities for Web and Windows applications.
  2. Experience in writing test cases/plans and performing test execution for complex systems
  3. Experience in Test Management, Bug Tracking and Reporting Systems, Manual & Automation Testing, QTP & PLSQL/ SQL.
  4. Practical experience of Testing tools such as QTP/Vperformer/Mantis/Quality Center/ Win Runner/Project Portal, etc.
  5. Knowledge of Functional Testing, Structural Testing, Black Box Testing, Unit Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, Regression Testing and User Acceptance Testing.
  6. Good ability to understand software requirements and high level design and perform the testing and automation activities accordingly.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Primarily responsible for testing of software applications (both web and desktop based) and thereby ensuring the roll out of an error free quality product.
  2. Work with the software team set up process which will help check the quality of the product at various phases of the project life cycle (SDLC).
  3. Preparation of Test Conditions, Data Guidelines for Test Data, Test Scripts, and Test Cases.
  4. Active participant in execution of Test Cases, Evaluation of expected results and preparation of Defect Report.
